Child Neurology Residency Program
As part of the state's only academic medical center, UMMC's Child Neurology residents take part in a well-established residency strong in education, research, and clinical care with disease processes ranging from simple febrile seizures to very rare inborn errors of metabolism. Housed in the state’s only children’s hospital, the Child Neurology Residency offers a diversity of experiences both clinical and professional.
Child Neurology faculty members at UMMC are widely known across the institution for their general child neurology and subspecialty interests, as well as being actively involved in education. Our faculty are educational leaders not only in our Child Neurology Residency, but also across the spectrum of the Undergraduate Medical School Education and in the Pediatrics and Neurology residencies and Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship.
Our training program offers categorical, advanced, and reserved positions in the match.
Selection of residents and fellows is based upon academic records, recommendation letters and interviews without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, marital or veteran status, age or disability.
